Judo Class

Is your student looking for a positive outlet for energy and exercise? Check out our offered Judo classes. Our very own English teacher, Mr. Abdul-Qabid is a national coach with many years of experience in teaching and coaching Judo. He is the former All Marine Judo Champion and is the youngest to ever to have accomplished this. To this day his record has never been broken! He is the former coach of Nick Kossor who is the former number 1 ranked Judoka in the United States and was an alternate for the US Olympic team. Mr. Abdul-Qabid is offering Judo classes for Wagon Mound Public Schools staff and students where they will learn fundamental skills with a Judo focus, in addition students will grow their self-confidence, flexibility, strength and respect. Classes will be held on Monday and Wednesday from 4:15 to 5:30pm. There will be a demonstration and registration on Monday, October 2nd at 4:15 in the Old Gym.
